Advanced Practice Providers
What are Advanced Practice Providers?
Advanced Practice Providers are Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners trained and certified to provide medical services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
While Advanced Practice Providers do not perform cardiovascular procedures, they do perform vital functions in the overall care of patients, including consulting patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, performing physical exams, and documenting and updating patient records. Advanced Practice Providers may order tests and make referral related to the patient's medical needs.
Advanced Practice Providers work hand-in-hand with our physicians to enhance the high standards of care we strive to achieve.
