Gene Kim, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles. At the practice’s locations in Torrance and Manhattan Beach, California, he treats patients of all ages and specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, before moving to California to complete an internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. Dr. Kim continued his advanced medical training with fellowships in cardiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, California, and cardiac electrophysiology at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

He maintains certification in both cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is fluent in English and Korean.

When he’s not diagnosing and treating patients with heart issues, Dr. Kim and his wife enjoy spending time with their two young sons and participating in all types of sports.
