Tess Emily Ventura, DNP, ANP-C 

Tess Emily Ventura is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner by American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has over 10 years of experience and has worked in major acute hospitals in Los Angeles, California. She has extensive training and education in acute care specializing in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Medicine. In 2010, she graduated with honors from California State University, Long Beach and earned her Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Certificate. Tess believes in learning continuously, not only to improve oneself but most importantly to improve patient care. She has further taken the highest degree in nursing practice and completed a Doctorate Degree at Grand Canyon University.  As a Doctor of Nursing Practice, she incorporates research in the improvement of care following evidence-based guidelines to achieve positive outcomes. With her dedication to advancing education and improving patient care, she was awarded the Advanced Practitioner of the Year.

Tess is also a practicing physician in the Philippines where she was born and raised. She goes home every year to hold free clinic for the less fortunate people who cannot afford health care.

In her free time, Tess and her husband love to travel. For Tess, traveling teaches her about people and their different cultures which is very important in her practice, in understanding the diversity of people with regards to their health.
